Website Migration Update – Tuesday, 24-January

The website is very close to being finalized. We have our fingers crossed that the new verion and the new forums will be live in the next few days. We are waiting on the development contractors to work out some final kinks and then perform the final migration.
We apologize that the forums have been down for the extended period, and we hope the wait for the new forums will be worthwhile for active and new users alike.

Thiel Fellowship still accepting applicants for 20 under 20 until Dec 31.

The note below comes from our friends at the Thiel Fellowship:
We are delighted to announce that we are now accepting applications for the 2012 class of Thiel Fellows. The 20 Under 20 Thiel Fellowship is a no-strings-attached grant of $100,000 that lets extraordinary young adults skip college and focus on their work, their research, and their self-education. The deadline is December 31st.

We are going to temporarily shutdown the forums beginning on Friday, Dec 23. We hope to have the forums live again by the second week of January, 2012. This temporary halt is due to our website upgrade and migration.
