Veronica Brieno Rankin, LL.M. is Founder and President of GeoSeq International, LLC, and an Associate Editor for Oil, Gas, and Energy Law (OGEL) Intelligence. A former Commissioned Officer of the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) Corps, she possesses unique ship handling experience in actual offshore environments. She completed three years of education toward a PhD in Geology at Michigan Technological University, and earned her Master of Laws degree at the prestigious Centre of Energy, Petroleum, & Mineral Law & Policy at the University of Dundee in the United Kingdom. Previously, she earned her BS degree in Earth Science at University of Wisconsin – Green Bay. Veronica was an Invited Expert Reviewer to 4 IPCC reports leading up to the organization’s 2007 Nobel Peace Prize Co-Laureate Award.
