Sarah was born and raised in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. She completed her undergraduate degree in Business Administration and her MA in International Policy from Stanford University. Sarah is currently an investor in a VC fund. Prior to that she headed Product and Strategy at a data technology start-up called Waphi in Dubai, U.A.E. Prior to that, Sarah worked in the tech space in New York. She also served as an Analyst at Google and McKinsey&Co and has several research experiences with institutes including the Berkman Klein Center for Internet & Society and the Freeman Spogli Institute. Sarah discovered the Seasteading Institute while researching Internet Governance models as part of her graduate studies at Stanford and immediately saw tremendous potential in the Institute’s model for effective, citizen-centered policies and governance models.
