Nicholas was born and raised in New Hampshire. He loves nature, animals, and science fiction, is a thinker, theorist, visionary, and dreamer, and wants to design and build a better future. As a young adult, Nicholas explored philosophy, earned a bachelor degree, and developed a theory on the nature of existence. With a deep passion for sustainability, systems thinking, design, and recognizing the role human civilization has on the future of the planet system, Nicholas earned a masters in urban and regional planning, aspiring to accelerate the advent of a more unified, stable, and ecologically responsible civilization.
Nicholas believes that seasteading has a tremendous potential for improving the way we live, restoring the ecological diversity of the planet, and returning to a more balanced and symbiotic relationship with the whole earth system. He plans to build sustainable and thriving communities on the ocean as well as on land that combine renewable technologies with quality social, cultural, and economic environments that work with natural systems. As an ambassador, Nicholas hopes to connect with fellow econauts and facilitate the emergence of seasteading paradigms. He believes that almost anything we can imagine is possible, the trick is in the transformation of the potential to the actual, which takes a community and a good plan.
