Alexander is a founder at financial services firm Kreindler Graf. Previously, he worked in special situations and quantitative strategies at First New York, a multi-strategy hedge fund. Before that, he led the creation of a digital talent representation platform for the music industry as co-founder and CEO of Spotlight.fm. Before that, he worked in various positions on wall street, including at Morgan Stanley and Deutsche Bank. He has a B.S. from the University of Wisconsin and an M.B.A. from the University of St. Gallen.
Alexander developed an interest in private governance models when he studied mathematics, philosophy, and computer science at the University of Wisconsin. He became involved with the Seasteading Institute in 2013. He continues to work with private cities projects through his firm, Kreindler Graf, and serves as a U.S. ambassador to Free Private Cities.
