Stacey is a Graduate Landscape Architect and Installation Artist who has contributed pieces to FESTA Festival of Temporary Architecture, Kiwiburn New Zealand’s Regional Burning Man and later this year Light Nelson.
She has a long standing affinity with water, interest in micronations and desire to make a positive change in the world. After the discovery of The Seasteading Institute she was quick to get involved as it allows her to combine these factors into a lifelong goal.
Sustainability is one of her biggest drivers and she intends to research how seasteading could reduce biodiversity loss and climate change from agriculture. She believes developing island nations have much to gain from seasteading, as it is certain we will see a climate change refugee crisis in the Asia/South Pacific region in the 21st century.
