- <p>I don't have a clear picture of the type of society I'm looking for. Important characteristics: equality, individual freedom, intellectual ethics...</p>, <p>One of my main reasons for coming to this forum and organization is that I have developed a way to grow food in very small spaces, using only a few per cent of the normal quantity of water needed in conventional agriculture. </p>, <p>We have these techniques in operaton. In a space of 2580 square feet we have the capacity to grow the same quantity of vegetables as would normally need 4.5 acres (4500 heads of lettuce and 400 tomato plants at one time, plus other herbs and greens). We are already harvesting lettuce in only 30 days from transplant, and have heirloom tomatoes setting fruit after only 30 days.
