That’s a pretty impressive project.
While not a general-purpose seastead where someone like me could go to live, it’s still a big boost for seasteading technology. -

Certainly you could grow rice on a seastead for local use.
But yes, transportation costs would likely make it not economically feasible to export rice from a seastead to land. -

The migration team ran into problems on the new server which could not be easily resolved, so that attempt was canceled and they’ll try again next week, probably on Monday.

The wiki problem is fixed. This also involved a DNS change, so it’s subject to the same caching issues as described in my initial post above.
