From time to time I have seen house prices for expensive places like New York and it always gives me encouragement that we should be able to make floating buildings that cost less per square foot. So I thought a topic where people could post links to expensive real estate would be encouraging to others too. Each post should end with, "I think we can beat this!" :-)
I will start things off.
I had lunch today with some people who were telling me that houses in the area of Vancouver they lived in were in the $600 to $1000 per sq-foot range. I found a site where I could search and I did find these kinds of prices.

$3,600,000 for 3,600 sq-ft. (Canadian dollars very close to US dollars now)
I think we can beat this!
