Hey All,
I found this article in a local newspaper. They want to give away several lighthouses on the Delaware Bay. Perhaps we should discuss the potential for taking one and using it as a seastead. I thought of a few reasons why:
1.) Its MUCH cheaper than any other seastead design we have seen.
2.) ALL of the legalities are already settled – and if we take one and start calling it a seastead it could make it easier for us to position newer seasteads in the future with less backlash (“Hey look we’ve already been operating this old one for several years”).
3.) Raise public awareness.
4. Help build a community, and give opportunity for hands-on involvement.
Just an idea. Sound off and let us know what you think!
