Basically you pumps cold water from the deep ocean up pipes that are down wind from a giant evaporative cooler with you then run the water thou.

If the humidity is high enough you could do away with the evaporative cooler and just make a plan aerial well using the deep ocean water.

Anyone know how many inchs of cold ocean water the pressure is at the therocline?

While digging a hole in the ocean would be amusing it wouldn’t be vary useful.

Hey! I had a very similar idea for producing potable H2O and for air-conditioning, even built it into the design of the hexatoons vertical connections. Check out the drawings on that thread, they’re designed so you can run pipes straight through the platform at almost any point.
