Does anyone know of some good online (or print, less ideally) resources that explain the basics of what gives a floating structure the attractive qualities of a seastead, like maximum stability and station keeping with minimum materials? Wikipedia is somewhat useful in this regard, i.e., metacentric height < http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Metacentric_height>, but I’d love to play around in an applet or find something even more basic.
