The technology for building seasteads will be concrete honeycomb and shell building. Human living space on land is built already with this technology and it can be used at the same cost per squaremeter at sea.
The technology is there.
70m diameter is off the shelve engineering – that should be sufficient to deal with Draupner Waves. 200 years of service life can be expected for such a structure.
Wha follows the plate seastead is the submerged living space concept…
