Shreddy, you beat me to it. Where does it say they have any money at all? I’m sure each of the founders probably put in a little startup money of their own, so they could hire their 3 advisors and get a website together and do some 3D modelling. But I don’t see any news that they have any funds at all.
What gets me most disappointed is that they have “signed up a number of advisors in matters of admiralty law, immigration law, and maritime operations” and what does TSI have? There hasn’t been any real engineering news for a while, and the legal paper really didn’t say anything we all didn’t already know.
My opinion is that Blueseed won’t see the light of day. There is no way the U.S. government is going to allow a moored station 12nm off the coast that has undocumented workers doing high-level IT and technology jobs. Certainly not with the state of security today.
Now if Blueseed was talking about 200nm off the coast, then I’d be impressed and give them massive kudos. Right now I have more respect for your sub, Shreddy’s floating box, and Elspru’s concrete canoe.
