Dmitry Orlov’s observed stages of collapse during Soviet Union,

he believes they will follow the same order in America,

    First Financial Collapse (bankruptcy, hyperinflation),

    then Commercial Collapse (empty shelves),

    then Political Collapse (anarchy),

    then Cultural Collapse (cannibalism).

It happened in Ukraine, when Stalin exported all the food,

humans that have starved for 14 days, resort to cannibalism.

My family survived because they had a backyard garden,

even then still had bloated colons from starvation.

however America is worse prepared than Soviets,

due to lack of stable jobs, housing, cottage-gardens.

Pile on top of that the dumbing down of average citizens.

Yep so that Zombie Apocalypse, may very well happen.

Everyone’s escape plan will vary, based on the information he receives and the tools at his disposal.

In each case he will cease to lend support to his slavemasters – or minimize support to the extent possible.

At a minimum, he will stop giving them credibility, as he realizes that he loses a great deal by continuing to divert his energy to their defense.

Ah, but I’m not pointing the finger at other victims. I point my finger directly at the appropriate target – politics and the politicians who have darkened the lives of myself and those who are fortunate enough to have read my book.

That is entirely consistent with my directive.

yo madrigal, tons of rich people think pure capitalism is the way to go – many of them say government is worthless. except when a crowd of naggers shows up on their front lawn, then they expect the police to take action and they dont want to pay any extra fees to the police its just “get these enemies off my damn lawn”. also when their factories come under threat they use the government in every which way possible, including shipping their neighbors off to war, to protect their interests.

my question is, how do u feel about the many technocratic solutions that are beginning to take shape, as opposed to a “ruling elite”? I proposed one concept with my “a call to arms” post here.

A man’s home is his castle, no matter how big or small. It doesn’t take police to keep unwanted guests away. Private security is already a much bigger industry, and it doesn’t require the theft of taxation. My book devotes a whole section, “Elements of Security,” to a serious look at the topic of defense.

also when their factories come under threat they use the government in every which way possible, including shipping their neighbors off to war, to protect their interests.

Exactly! And where no politicians are available, no one is able to employ such barbarism.

I read your Wikipedia link, and it is interesting. More transparancy and greater access is an improvement, but it assumes that some “policy” needs to be enacted for the majority or other political class. All such inventions rely too much on science and human action to “solve” problems that are solved automatically through natural government. The last section of my book, “Escape from Utopia,” covers the fallacies of democracy in detail.

    Another austrian school kid !

We need government to protect us from business, and to protect the commons.

Need a govt to provide courts and jails, cuz we can’t just kill someone for theivery (without checking for extenuating circumstances first)

We are now in 4 trillion dollars debt in the USA, and debt will equal GDP by halloween. That was caused directly by corporations and banking/finance. Had almost nothing to do with homeowners. ( they say it was .01% of people buying above their heads) The austerity measures and taxation coming due from that will enslave our entire country.

I would like to see a single instance of a natural rescource business that hasn’t hurt the biosphere, other than the oceanwater lithium harvesting. (no data on that)

Corporations were designed as charitable institutions, and shoud be outlawed for any other use. Greed is the second most dangerous vice, and a lust for power is the first.

“Voting with your dollars” should be our way of govt all right. Each person should get a digital allotment to vote/spend on projects of their choice – space travel, biodeisel, food aid, whatever. That is how tax money should be used.

We wouldn’t need to have ANY taxes if we didn’t have the Fed. If we instead had a Bank of the USA. The interest paid to the bank would be enough to cover ALL the expenses of the people ,except war.

Politicians like to kill people. Insurance companies (and RTR agencies) pay back victims by subrogating their claims, and being compensated by the aggressors. They provide quality customer service to the extent that they are required to compete (which is the environment that the marketplace naturally provides). Thugs are penalized in a free market – to the extent of their thuggery. (Chapter I)

The business cycle is caused by politicians meddling in the banking and currency markets. Restricting residents to a single national currency monopoly prevents currency holders from switching to a more stable currency – thus enabling the banksters to manipulate the value of their currency as they wish. When currency is printed, its value is reduced to the extent of the new supply (elementary supply and demand).

The 2007 subprime mortgage crisis was directly caused by the federal regulations that encouraged risky loans to low income consumers and minorities – specifically the Equal Credit Opportunity Act, the Fair Housing Act, the Home Mortgage Disclosure Act, and the Community Reinvestment Act. (Chapter V)

Natural tort law prevents pollution by internalizing externalities (by requiring accountibility). Anyone who pollutes is an intruder, and must directly pay the victim(s) for losses and damages. Politicians like “public property” which has no owner and thus no protector. They create the incentive to pollute. Pollution = collectivism (Part B, Chapter II)

Greed is penalized by the market – if it manifests itself as theft. It is rewarded in politics. Power corrupts. Absolute power corrupts absolutely. The natural market is a natural government. In the civilized world, politicians have no immunities, so they are treated the same as other thieves and murderers.

That’s how the market works – and without compulsory taxation.
