Yea but you can't have that under a flag of convenience. If your seastead is registered with the German International Ship Registry, and flying a German flag, you cannot live with the drug laws of Holland, the gun laws of the United States, and the business laws of Hong Kong. You have to live with the drug laws and gun laws and business laws of Germany. When you are onboard that seastead it is no different than if you are in Hamburg.

You cannot mix and match legal or social systems until you have the autonomy to create your own system.

I don't see how we can get 99% of what we want with flagging, unless your seastead is 99% similar to the flagging country. If that's the case, why not just live in that country? Why go through the expense and challenge of doing it at sea?
