Hmm new countries built by private companies. Maybe just a tad anti-democratic?

Not necessarily. It’s not like America is a democracy, really. The popular vote doesn’t even elect the president (electoral college), and every single politician in Washington is essentially a corporate whore and professional actor. The bulk of our legislators do NOT represent the people. They represent the rich, because only the rich can run. There’s not ONE SINGLE congressman or president in office today that got there without corporate money. We are ALREADY in a government run by private companies. At least with this model, it doesn’t try to lie about it and say it isn’t.
