    There seems to be some substantial modification of the containers in a lot of these houses. At some point the benefits of using containers must be eaten up by the cost of these modifications.

    Still it is good that these are available as an alternative for seasteading on a container ship for instance. The stackability makes for efficient use of ship real estate and the possibility of taking your house with you when moving to another boat is attractive.
